Reviews & Testimonials from San Marino Homeowners

My mainline backed up and I needed help right away, this morning. Johnny called within 15 minutes, came out and fixed my problem fast for a fair price. Plus he was very professional, nice guy! I called 3 plumbers and this company was the only one that responded. Thank you Johnny and Western Rooter for a job well done! I’m able to get back to work and not waste my whole day with plumbing problems.

Had a clogged chicken sink 9:30 pm in my house in San Marino. Called Western Rooter & Plumbing and Aaron showed up in 20 minutes. Job was done in 45 minutes! Great work, professional, thorough and clean and a more than reasonable charge. Highly recommend to everyone in the neighborhood!

Had a toilet leaking due to old gasket and accidentally ran over a sprinkler in the garden. Called in the morning and Vinny was able to show up within an hr to rescue us. Vinny was super polite and professional. Before any fixing, Vinny would give the price and would warn about the price change if the condition was worse than it seems. Luckily, everything was what he predicted and the pricing was exactly what he said before the job. Highly recommend this place.

I have had 2 very positive experiences with Western Rooter and Plumbing recently. The first related to a complaint by a tenant that the master bedroom toilet and bathtub were not working properly. Manny from Western Rooter evaluated the situation carefully and professionally. He was very friendly and explained everything. He ran a camera through the house main sewer line to the street and checked the drainage of the master bedroom. He found no specific problems and recommended no further action. He did note two things: the toilet had 2 flush positions, which the tenants may not have been aware of, and that the bathtub had a tip toe style drain, which may not always open completely, thereby causing slow draingage. What impressed me were his careful evaluation and his honesty. He did not recommend unnecessary additional services for additional money.

Then, several days later, we had a true backed up drain at my daughter’s house. I called Western Rooter on Sunday to schedule service for the next day. They were there at 9AM Monday morning. Johnny Decker did the work, and he was quick, knowledgeable, and professional. He took extra time to finish hooking up an under sink connection that was being replaced and charged me nothing for the favor. He was very affable. Also, he had brought his son along to teach him the business, which I think says a lot about Johnny’s character.

Good service, good people, and very competitive prices. I should also mention that the office people are very friendly and helpful when you call.

My kitchen sink drainage pipe was clogged - ultimate stoppage due to a few carrot peels ground by the garbage disposal. The clogged thick sludge in the pipe was several tens of feet from the sink and around a couple of pipe bends. A standard size snake threaded electrically down the pipe kept hitting a dead end, never reaching the clog. Tony at Western Rooter not only looked at the pipes under the house to get a sense of how to navigate a snake, but also used an extra large snake to penetrate the sludge. He is awesome! Thanks Tony!!
